Jewelry Care Guide

Regular and gentle care helps maintain the pristine appearance of 14K gold and diamond jewelry.

Establish a gentle routine

14K gold and diamond jewelry can come into contact with skin oils, cosmetics, and environmental residues during daily wear. Regular but gentle care helps reduce accumulated residue on the surface.

Warm water and gentle cleaning

Clean the jewelry with warm water and a small amount of gentle soap. A very soft, clean brush can be used for hard-to-reach areas. Do not apply harsh pressure.

Rinse and dry thoroughly

Make sure the drain is closed. Remove soap residue with clean water and gently dry the piece with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Store separately

To reduce scratching, store jewelry in separate compartments or soft pouches, where they do not touch each other.

Protect from chemicals and impact

Nilya notes that chemicals such as chlorinated pool water and household cleaning products can harm precious metals or lead to discoloration. Applying perfume, hairspray, and cosmetics before wearing jewelry helps reduce direct contact.

Removing rings during heavy physical activity, sports, gardening, or repeated contact with hard surfaces reduces the risk of impact to the metal, stone, and setting. Store the removed piece in a safe place rather than leaving it on a random surface.

Protecting a piece is not about cleaning it more harshly; it's about consciously managing what it comes into contact with.

When to consider professional inspection?

If you feel the stone moving in its setting, notice significant bending in the prongs, damage to the metal, or if the piece has sustained a hard impact, stop using it and consider appropriate professional inspection.

Ultrasonic devices may not be equally suitable for every piece of jewelry and every setting. Do not follow a general ultrasonic cleaning recommendation without a precise evaluation of the product structure and stone properties.
